AwardWinner: Climatech Challenge 2025 at EGYPES, Cairo
kraftwerk wins the Climatech Challenge at one of the energy industry’s major international gatherings.
At EGYPES 2025 in Cairo, kraftwerk won the Climatech Challenge — selected from international competitors for the technology’s measurable impact: up to 92% electrical efficiency on gaseous fuels, multi-fuel operation, and a system that works with today’s infrastructure.
The pitch that won: fuel in, electricity out, nothing else. No combustion, no noise, and no dependency on rare or conflict-prone materials.
The award adds to a validation record that includes five years of proof-of-concept work with the Volkswagen Group and completed TRL 7.
